girlfriend and i are young needing a new spot that wont worry about background checks or rental history. i know these exist as we lived in a place recently like this. i work at the alamo drafthouse and my girlfriend dances, and is also about to start there with me.

Our last rent was $1k a month wifi included and only had to pay electric, which we could manage.

Oakridge Properties - that includes Crosswinds and Peppertree. We had the same concerns with rental history and credit but they approved us no issues. The apartments at Peppertree are exceptionally old and not well maintained, but if you just need a roof over your head it's acceptable. They allow pets and smoking.

try courtyard on walnut- 1k a month for a 2b2b with everything included (electric, wifi, trash, parking, water etc). plenty of available units rn, cant remember if they check credit or not but i dont remember them checking mine

edit: totally forgot the management company changed since i moved in, still worth checking into imo

also rented from Oakridge. I don't remember any credit check just proof of income. You may even be able to sign a month to month lease. Because just as the other person said, most of the properties are rundown and not well kept, but it is a roof until you can find something better

2752 S Meadowbrook Apartments; I had bad credit, still got it. Pool, laundry room, parking, decent neighbors, im not sure if all have in-unit W/D.

I had a 2bed 2bath for about 700-800 a month.
