I can second this…last year due to my medical workforce family choosing an alternate date…I decided Corral…until I saw the 200 plus person line. So I drove up Glenstone to Village Inn. It was just me so I got in pretty quick. Meal was pretty quick…under 10 minutes as I remember.

The meal was basic but fair. I assume the same reality at GC but no big line. I think I was around $15 with tip.

I would search Springfield Mo thanksgiving restaurant meals to see previous years options….

If you want nicer you should book NOW. But Ive had anything from some DAMN good Thanksgiving meal at a restaurant in the better Detroit suburbs to the literal Salvation Army meal. There’s some technical cooking stuff but largely it’s going to be 70% the same regardless of where you go. You’ll know when it’s bad and when it’s top notch the same as most any other item.

In the US the toughest times are had by those with few options or no family place to go when it comes to meal time on Thanksgiving/Christmas. Checking it off the list is big even if it is a simple restaurant meal. It’s very easy to feel very lonely on those days for a lot of people. I’ve been there.
