Copy cat recipe curious - Bawi Korean

This may be controversial to ask, and I don’t mean to be, but I LOVE Bawi Korean BBQ’s signature sauce and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what’s in it, or any similar copy cat recipes they have figured out? Bonus points for the sweet bulgogi marinade sauce too.

I won’t stop going to them whenever I can because I genuinely love the atmosphere, food, and staff there - Seriously, 10/10 recommend if you haven’t been before. That said, the Bawi sauce is a really, really good complement for several different foods and I would love to be able to have or make something similar for my grilled veggies!

I have both of her cookbooks, they’re amazing. I’ve never made something I didn’t like.

Future Neighbor is another good one.

You might ask them. Sometimes a restaurant will disclose the ingredients but may not give exact measurements.

Not sure what ice cream they use, it may be homemade, but the moon pies are just the branded snackcake, and Hershey’s chocolate syrup! https://moonpie.com

I feel that, I’m always craving Bawi lol. I thiiiink you can’t tell the difference if you use Hiland vanilla, even if they homemake their ice cream, tbh. It’s a very familiar flavor, Imo.
