Perhaps selling arm warmers is the only form of income they are able to functionally generate during that time. You realize that not everyone has equal access to medical care, let alone psychiatric care. These are very real, very facts regarding this demographic. To make such a gross generalization that most homeless people are lazy over the factual ladder that I explained, is just so baffling.
