I'm looking for a new Primary Care Dr., and need them to be MMJ friendly as the last doctor refused to refill some medication after the card was procured. TIA!

I go to Mercy. I tell everyone when they ask what meds I take. I have never had any commentary or push back
Unless something has changed relatively recently, I believe Mercy has a blanket policy for their providers against prescribing medical marijuana?
I'm sure, they aren't prescribing it. But they aren't freaking out when I tell them another doctor recommended it (the MMJ clinic doctors) and that I use it now.

Most people are using the dedicated companies w/doctors you pay a fee to recommend your medical card. I may have misunderstood the question.
Dr.Post at the Cox Campbell clinic. Won’t bat an eye at you about it.
Nah I think you got it, I don't think OP is asking for an actual MMJ physician.
He's my doctor too. I haven't been there since I started smoking but he does seem like he would be that kind of doctor.

Gotcha, I think I misunderstood the question, I thought OP was needing a provider to prescribe
Dr. Scott Ellis with Mercy
I frequently see people in Mercy scrub type uniforms at the dispensary those black ones with the embroidered logo on them. I always chuckle bc mercy docs have been anything but accepting of mmj in my experience
For me my Mercy doc wouldn't prescribe certain classes of meds based on my medical card/usage. It's 'fun' when you are a light user for ASD issues, and need something for the ADHD issues. Non-stims don't really cut it for me. Been on them for a couple of years with basically no results.
One of them missing, I have a short tolerance for people . The other missing, and I have a hard time getting over the adhd stuff (with or without cannabis). Both make for easier time working on projects!

Cox>>>>>>>Mercy when it comes to cannabis acceptance. I've never had an issue with a Cox network physician.
