I know Sbarro wasn’t like world class pizza or anything, but it was unique and I would love to have a slice of it again. If it’s the same.

Well, that’s what I thought, but there’s a billboard on I-44 here in town that says there’s a Sbarro at the One9 truck stop in Strafford. Their website shows it too, although it doesn’t list any details.
Like disappointed how? It wasn’t good or the same, or it wasn’t there?
On Sbarro’s website, it lists two within 100mi of Spfd. It does show Samra Travel Center in Stratford. Wtf!
Was not there, sorry. I think my wife tried calling the phone number with no luck also.
Well, shit.
The guy that ran the Sbarro in the Battlefield Mall opened up “Jax & Gabe’s Pizzeria” on Republic Road. It was great and you could do pizza by the slice. Unfortunately, Jax & Gabe’s closed on December 30, 2019.
I think this place has some false claims about crazy good Indian food too
It’s definitely there. The pizza looked about the same as I remember it, but I didn’t try it. You can buy it by the slice or a whole pie. They also fresh Indian food that smelled good, but was not nearly the variety of the gas station Indian spot in Joplin (that is really good).
Sbarro is ass
For what it's worth, there's a new Sbarro at the newly opened truck stop in Norwood, about 50 miles east of Springfield. I don't believe it's been added to the website yet.

Google showed a Sbarro in Strafford, but when we drove there to find it... We were disappointed. That has been a couple months ago maybe.
