I'm not there yet with mine, but will be in the next year or so. I'm also interested in hearing about co-ops in the area! I know most of the homeschool families I know are either a part of the Classical Conversations (which I'll probably be going with for our kids) or hire professors to meet with them and a few other families children a couple times a week for various subjects.
