If this was anywhere that other than Texas I'd probably be laughing but knowing the cops in Dallas they probably just went after him because of who he is. There's been stories about the cops going into bars in Texas and arresting all of the people inside for public intoxication.

I’ve been very drunk, in a lot of different bars in texas and never heard of people being arrested for public intoxication.

If anything, texas alcohol laws feel very lax.
