>The Aggies have been embroiled in controversy since November, when forward Mike Peake shot and killed a New Mexico student in Albuquerque in what police called a self-defense case after Peake had been lured to the campus. Per the school's statement, Friday's decision to suspend the season is separate from that case.
Not the headline of the story, just wondering if it's normal for students in other parts of the world to carry handguns on campus just in case?

Well this is in Albuquerque. And the rival schools campus, not his own. I mean, he shouldn’t feel like he has to, but in that case it was good he did, I guess??

On one hand good for him for being prepared otherwise we'd be fully talking about him in the past sense. The video showed the other guy shot first as Peake tried fleeing.
On the other hand, he's in the wrong for bringing a gun with him to a game and for breaking team rules and for trying to meet up with a 17 year old. He's gonna survive but this situation has ruined lives.
