Wasnt murder. Self-defense. Plus he shot some kid at another school.

He killed someone in self defense after sneaking out of the team hotel to meet a 17 year old girl in her dorm room at 3 am and then had his teammates and coaches hide the self defense weapon before the team bus darted out of town before the police were done with them.
