Yeah to win a defamation case you have to prove someone hurt your reputation correct? His reputation has been shit since the 90’s but then again I am a Bears fan lol.

I believe you but what’s your legal opinion as to why it won’t go anywhere? 😂

These guys are technically bloggers, they learned about the allegations after they were reported by the media and so are no different then the rest of the public who speaks about those allegations they just so happen to be on youtube....Favre is gonna lose and have to pay his and their lawyer fees and court fees and filing fees...he's a football player not a genius 😂

Fun fact: some jurisdictions have a defamation defense just like that called libel-proof plaintiff. Pretty much the argument is the plaintiff’s reputation is already destroyed so the defendant’s false statements couldn’t have made it worse.

Truth is a outright defense to defamation

Defamation cases are notoriously difficult to win
-
You have to prove the person KNOWINGLY spread false information
-
You have to prove that they INTENDED the defamation of character
How you do both is beyond me in this case

Also he is usually reading reports as they are written most the time which is hard to prove as spreading KNOWN lies (which everything points to it all being true anyways).

He will be on welfare soon lol.
ImbambiBitch t1_j88nr65 wrote
For people in the public eye its even harder.
First you have to prove they lied. Pat didn't lie, he said allegdy. Second Brett did get the money, those are facts.
Next you gotta prove it harmed you. But this doesn't matter if you can't prove it was a lie.
ImbambiBitch t1_j88nuac wrote
Yes
He did
In fact if I'm not mistaken it's already been proven in court.
