Guess you could try reading the article. First couple of lines should clear things up for ya, Champ.

Perhaps the poster is young, in which case I give leeway. But if an adult, this question is a terrible indictment on his/her education system. While one cannot know everything, there's an obvious lack of critical thinking, and a quick read of the four sentence article would have answered the question.

Looks like it could be more than 1 rock and if you move a few feet in any direction it probably wouldn’t look like a bird anymore.

What is the utility of this post? Is it to make the OP feel stupid? Is it to demonstrate that you’re such a deep thinker that you not only knew it was a rock, but you recognized the underlying failing that would lead someone to an erroneous conclusion?
I can’t think of any reason other than to build yourself up or put someone else down. If you’re an adult, then this is an indictment on your education system, which apparently never taught you that if you don’t have something nice to say, you shouldn’t say anything at all.

The whole article attached to the image is but four sentences long, in which the answer is clear. Yet s/he asks if a rock on Mars is a terrestrial bird! Assuming it isn't a child (for which I made explicit exception), this person is so far afield one might wonder if s/he isn't trolling.
So, the utility of the comment is to hope s/he and others who read it won't do the same thing (again) - post before reading or giving reasonable thought. Admonishment can be useful. Indeed, you're employing such yourself!

It's obviously a sculpture of a bird made my the Martian artist-in-residence, Ecoootipil! Clearly y'all don't know your Martian sculptors.

For everyone else

You sometimes have to wonder about the people that come up with this shit. Do they look up at the sky, see a cloud and think: Hmm, that cloud looks like a bird. Must be aliens. Or is it just when ordinary stuff on Mars looks like something they recognize that it must be aliens?

If you have ever traveled in the desert you can see strange erosion patterns like this. They look very much like things we recognize. But it's just what happens when there are dust storms and sand and dirt and rocks.

What about a rock in the shape of a tool? Or a sculpture. When they find a sculpture of a Da Vinci painting on Mars, it damn well better be newsworthy.
