Don’t forget that there’s also the spin from earth that basically goes the other way when staring at Jupiter so that probably contributes a little bit too.

I'm no scientist, but it's so far away and so large that I can't imagine that earth's rotation has any noticeable effect other than its position in the sky. Happy to be proven wrong though.

When I'm looking at jupiter with my telescope it's in view for about 30-45sec before I have to readjust it. I'm brand new to amature astronomy but I do know it moves fast even looking from here.

Sure, I agree that it moves in the sky, but not that earth's rotation would have any noticeable effect on how its rotation appears to us

Ohh yes I understand you now. Yeah the earths rotation has no affect on that.
