Kia Ora fam,
I spent the last weekend during the new moon on a beach an hour away from home. This is my first time really giving Orion and Barnard's loop a try and I'm quite pleased with the results.
The Wairarapa is one of the largest dark sky reserves in the world and I'm so grateful to live only an hour drive from these kinds of skies. Unfortunately we don't see these colours with our eyes because they suck and fortunately I have an astro modified Nikon Z6 to get these details.
