I show you my last artistic picture made with different technics. If you like this picture, feel free to take a look at my whole work on my Instagram. Every following means a lot to me :) Thanks!
About the method: The technique consists in building a mosaic of the Moon, taking thousands of pictures, part by part, using a Maksutov 150/1800mm telescope with an iNova PLB Cx camera. I have captured a total amount of 60,000 images, aligned and stacked between 3 and 5% of the best quality frames in terms of quality. I have finally stitched all the resulting stacked pictures together to reconstruct the full Moon. Planets were taken on another night with the same telescope. Stars are one photograph taken with my 72ED Evostar telescope. Clouds were captured with my Canon 1200D.
About the composite: I have merged the Moon, planets, clouds and stars together in the same image in post-processing to make this composite picutre. Dimensions/sizes are not to scale.
My setup: I used a Maksutov 150/1800 on a HEQ5 Pro mount with a PLB Cx camera.
