I was a member of a sub that was discussing how to spot sock puppets and bots on Reddit, so you could have some sort of plugin that would tag them with detailed information.

It turns out that if you spend time seriously digging into a project like that, you start getting death threats. There are a lot of people who want to be able to deploy sock puppets.

Naturally, I myself am a bot.

It's a social media account which is used mostly just to manipulate discussions for political or business agendas.

A puppet is a construct, which is controlled by a hidden hand
