A major problem with immortality is overpopulation. Our planet π is already straining under the weight of well over 7 Billion Souls, resources are not being fairly allocated amongst all of us and land is at a premium. I feel we should first focus on bringing other spheres within reach; developing interstellar travel, radiation proof shielding, cryonic suspension, etc so as to enable us as a species to spread out through the stars π.. at that point, living forever and having lots of offspring would make sense πΈπ

Also nobody should die so that some hypothetical future person can breed. I want my personal DNA to survive, not some hypo rando who is owed absolutely nothing by me.
