Yeah. AI can just kill all of you with nanobots or a virus. Give it enough time and it will have full control over everything that runs on electricity. You won't even see it coming when you all start dropping like flies.

Well, speaking of magic... people without technical knowledge of the subject tend to imagine advanced AI as some kind of abstract, sinister Force that will encompass the globe and eradicate humanity. But when you get more concrete about it, it's not nearly so threatening.
