ASI will literally probably discover some new realm of physics instantly, then be able to construct it via completely exotic means we can’t possibly understand now.
There’s every chance that seconds after an ASI emerges our energy problems will prettymuch magically be fixed by infrastructure appearing to emerge out of thin air, seemingly instantly.
Perhaps everything electric will suddenly run without being plugged in and our scientists will have no idea why, for example.
We have absolutely no way to predict how extremely advanced it might be, and any sufficiently advanced technology might be indistinguishable from magic to us.
