Florida should have a vested interest in maintaining their shoreline by supporting their reefs. All that tourism money is nothing to sneeze at.

I live in FL and there are some conservation efforts but not nearly enough. Often, politicians like to “speak” as to how much they have invested into FL’s natural resources. Sure…..

There is also a thought that acting locally you can solve the issue, but many ocean problems require international solutions.
