Can’t tell if this is sarcasm. An n of 26 isn’t a study to be dismissed. That’s a fairly normal sample size for something like this. Probably was at least several thousands of $ for this many participants.

"Results Both THC and THC/CBD significantly increased self-rated state anxiety compared to placebo. State anxiety after THC/CBD was significantly lower than after THC alone. THC-induced anxiety was independent of anxiety at baseline. When baseline anxiety was low, CBD completely counteracted THC-induced anxiety; however, when baseline anxiety was high, CBD did not counteract THC-induced anxiety. There were no effects of any treatment condition on the EST."

So if you're naturally anxious either way you will still be anxious?

The study has less to do with using a vaporizer and more to do with using equal amounts THC and CBD.

What they don't mention that I find interesting is whether it was administered in a concentrated vaporizer oil format or, buds put in an old school vaporizer. They also don't mention if participants were new or familiar to vaporizing. I think this could be cause for dispute of the results.

There's a potential that participants that had the combo were more used to vaporizing vs others that just had the thc vs the control.

Oh, sorry! I didn’t realize you were struggling understanding the excerpt that you posted- it sounded like you were just asking a rhetorical question for snark.

Did you get an answer, or are you still confused about the results of the study? I ask because I'm happy to explain if so!

Either form will give me greater anxiety if I use it regularly. I never understood why people always said they smoked to chill out or relax because it’s always had the opposite effect on me. Like if I smoke I can’t go to sleep for at least 2-3 hours after because my mind will be too active.

It took me years to figure things out. Now I’m just careful to use cannabis in smaller doses and to not use it daily. I prefer it over alcohol as well!

For me it's a tolerance issue, only ever get anxious after I stop using it for some time and start again, when I build it up again the anxiety goes away but then I'm addicted to it and spend all day groggy.

I thought that it was fairly common knowledge that CBD countered the effects of THC…?

I'm curious what strains they were using, or if it even mattered. Like, I've gotten anxious on some sativas, but totally chill on indicas.

It's even less common knowledge that specific terpene concentrations can also counter the effects. Didn't read the study but unless they're taken into account as well it's kinda not a good study

The dealer, budtender, or a kid in highschool can tell you smoking Shatter or concentrates much higher in THC will cause more anxiety, that's the whole thing about THC.

How about me and my friends/family 15 year study between the 30+ of us who can all tell you the exact same thing.

This is like saying "Caffeine and Milk in equal quantities will have less of an effect than just a whole cup of coffee."

I have had one for about 2 years and use it occasionally with great success for relaxation, sleep, or fun. The strain of marijuana is important. Try a small amount until you find what you're looking for. I have one kind for sleep (kosher tangie) and one for fun (cherry dosido). Took awhile of trying different strains and reading up on them to find what I wanted. The original VapCap is still my go to. Smoothest and tastiest drag I've had. The Vong is also fun but takes a bit more tinkering and maintenance like most bongs do. Great suggestion you made.

Thanks mate. I genuinely think this device could help so many people out. I quit smoking tobacco with one of these and even people who don't smoke weed can use it.

There are a ton of flowers you can vape as a tobacco substitute. Lavender, camomile, and valerian to name just three and honestly, lavender through a vape tastes and smells amazing and it's actually quite relaxing. Obviously it doesn't get you high like cannabis but it is very pleasant.

They do. 'B' model now too which is only about 30 odd quid. It's a great little device.
