Not the organizations that are making billionaires from federal dollars..... Why do liberals love big pharma all of a sudden? They were the enemy of the people for decades according to liberal dogma.

So, who should be funding these studies? Irrelevant organizations? Their competitors? The GBS organization which probably has limited funding to begin with? If you dislike a certain party doing the study, atleast come up with a viable alternative.

Uh, like it used to be. Third parties awarded federal grants. Grant money has dramatically dropped over the last 10 years. A lot of researchers are spending more time competing for the little funding that is out there instead of doing research that saves lives and advances technology/science. All we have is crony capitalism being fueled by special interests.
