You could do that, or you could do anywhere from 16:8 to 22:2 most days of the week. I try to do at least 16:8, but it’s 17:7, or even 20:4 depending on the day.

To get autophagy going which is shown to clean up cellular debris you need to fast at least 24hrs. So the normal intermittent stuff which works for blog glucose, etc, isn't long enough for this.

It most likely is if you also work out while on your fast. I go to the gym and/or walk on a slope for an hour while on my fast. Your body burns more than it has.
