Hey guys, I thought this might be a good place to look. I've been thinking about joining a guild and I kinda want it to be people I know-ish. I've looked around and there are guild finders, but I was wondering if anyone local played WoW that has a guild.

I've been playing since the original expansion, with b reaks here and there for life...but I got the new expansion and it's pretty good! I want to get into some raiding, but I wouldn't mind doing dungeons and such. I tank, and I have a healer too, which I know is in demand, but I'd rather have a small group of friends to run stuff with than some strangers.

If you’re interested in Wrath Classic I have a guild that’s just like 7 people I know irl! I’m the only one currently in rva but there would be a few opportunities a year to meet the other members irl because we are all in Virginia :)

I actually founded a WoW guild with some local players a few years ago. The biggest issue was getting everyone on the same side.

It was called Avail; but I haven't played WoW in years.

Instanced content is all cross faction now. Doesnt help with a single guild, but you can at least do content as a single group now despite faction.

What server are you on?

I’m Horde on Illidan, have a Rogue, Warrior, and Priest so I can tank, heal or DPS as well.

I'm on Sargeras. But I'm pretty sure we can do o stuff like arena and dungeons across server...and I think even across faction now! When I get off work I'll PM you my blizzard id thing.
