I’m a bit confused at the hostility unless I’m missing something, I’ve been to plenty car meets, and most if not ALL are literally just people parked in a lot with their cars talking shit walking around.

Edit: hostility not hospitality lol

Yeah but those are Saturday mornings full of old guys that want to show off their cars. Not Friday nights completely impromptu

Big crossover between night meets and takeovers these days.

Didn’t know about it, that’s horrible and tragic and has absolutely nothing to do with what I’m looking for

Assuming "tn" meant "tonight"

At least back from where I'm from in Fort Lauderdale, there were a lot of car shows on Friday nights and a few Saturday mornings. Fright nights tended to be the younger crowd with hydraulics and lighting and stereos (usually at a Costco or Walmart lot) and Saturday mornings were the classic cars with gorgeous iridescent paint jobs 😍

The same seemed to be the case in Atlanta and in LA. I wonder if it's just a common Friday night/Saturday morning thing across the country?

Some people just like cars and don't contribute to the mischief you're referring to.
