This place is always a madhouse inside and outside between the volume and homeless people. Not to mention taking 20 mins to get a sandwich.

Can you imagine if it was as big as Boulevard Wawa?
Thanks for saving my the trouble of leaving this comment
Yeah, that place plays opera to try and get people (homeless) to stop loitering.
I read that gas station and the surrounding area had like 1000 911 calls in a year or some unbelievably large number.
I’d say the murder Exxon in shockoe
If you’ve spent more than 15 minutes in this Wawa it is proven to give you more antibodies than any Covid booster.
I was there earlier today only because I was so low on gas I was afraid I’d run out if I didn’t stop. Homeless folks at both entrances/exits. Chaotic parking around the gas pumps. I’m always happy to leave there.
💯
Airport Dr Wawa is pretty chaotic. Saw a girl flip 7 times into the now Sheetz lot across the street at noon on a Wednesday a couple years ago
….. Hoagiefest, perhaps?
Gotta have a Wawa, I guess
Wawa at Staples Mill & Bethlehem. Always crazy.
less stabby tho
That place before 9 am is a contractor madhouse. Unhinged.
I'd say they all are. Westchester Wawa is next to my company's office and is full of guys in yellow jackets and work boots before 8am. Sometimes power linemen show up in their giant bucket trucks and block several gas pumps for 15 mins.
Is Wawa only for office workers now?
You sound insulted. Wasn't insulting the fact that contractor dudes show up to Wawa. Funny enough, the line worker bucket truck fleets that clog up pumps at Wawa some mornings (not like they pump and immediately move) often block landscapers and other vehicles that require diesel to do their jobs, since the Westchester Wawa only has a few pumps that are diesel.
Wawa used to be a place of magic and wonder. In the past 10 years +/- it like everyone has caught on now and drained all the magic and joy out of it. I don't go to them anymore because all they do is make me sad.
This is the most accurate comment I’ve ever read on here.
Ever since they put in the self-checkout I get in and get out without any problems
Why are people so afraid to use it?! I'm always in and out bypassing 10 people in line. It's great
People buying gas or tobacco, I assume.
I used to be one of them
I don't think I go into a Wawa without grabbing gas, smokes, or beer, so...no self check out for me.
Yea I use the staples mill one and there will be 2 big ass lines and I’ll just walk up and use the self checkout
If they have the lottery, that's the usual hold-up at most convenience stores.
I only used it one time and accidentally scanned an item twice and tried to take it off. It just kept repeating something like ask an associate for help but it was so LOUD lmao. I got embarrassed and just walked out without anything lol
My fiancé did this. I just paid for the second item and grabbed it on the way out. They turned that volume ALL the way up
Airport Wawa gets wild too
The BP by Ream’s Market
It wouldn’t even be that bad if people didn’t park at the goddam pump while they spend twenty minutes inside
Beer Palace
I used to only go there at like 4:30am before work and it was no problem. Started a new job that starts at 10 and now I understand how crazy that Wawa can be. Places this chaotic I just tell myself are closed and go somewhere else
I was there today and noted how unusually dead it was. Around 11am. I normally joke about how that Wawa resembles a busy Klingon trading post due to the usual high volume.
That’s the first one I’ve seen with a security guard
Check out the Wawa near the Brook Rd Walmart I had some guy ask for money and when I told him no punched my drivers side window and proceeded to chase my car as I tried to dodge everything to get the hell away from him
I used to live down Brook in Bellevue and can confirm that this Wawa makes the Boulevard one look like a gallery opening at The Met. I've been there when you had to get an employee to unlock the beer cave for you, been accosted in the parking lot for having no cash to give away, and have def waited over 20m for a sandwich before.
Oh god, yeah, that place is an unhinged bizarro-world. If Arthur Ashe is Thunderdome, Brook Road might has well be an actual deathmatch.
Seen multiple drug deals go down in that parking lot. Still prefer it to the Exxon next door though because I've never had the homeless people come up and talk to me at the Wawa
It’s over a 50/50 that someone will all you for money at wawa. Usually when you walk in, but several times someone came up to me at the pump
The Wawa on Brook Rd is about the same. For some reason it's the home of sketchy box trucks with NY plates in the morning. It's also full of homeless people standing by the entrance asking for money.
I’ve noticed that some of those sketchy box trucks from NY are buying their limits of cartons of “cheap” smokes.
Could be. Most of them are lined up for the pumps. Idk why. There are plenty of truck stops 10 miles north that pump way faster than the slow ass Wawa pumps.
Wawa at Laburnum and Eubank is insane.
The problem really I have with it really is the parking lot, Especially if your trying to turn in from Ellen Road.
7/11 on Jeff Davis just past Chippenham in the county line. The one in the center median.
Not only is it chaotic, I got my credit card skimmed at one of the tanks pre-COVID. I now avoid that place like the plague.
On my last visit I found a pair of soiled shorts in the bathroom stall.
Can’t wait until the new mega Wawa - bye Arbys- opens on Broad..🤣
Hahaha I’m sorry the sandwich part got me
every wawa in town is so chaotic and crowded but i will be returning for blt and pretzel <3
The wawa in Wilmington Delaware right before the bridge looks like a scene out of The Walking Dead after 9pm.
Shockoe exxon duh
Wawa on Brook & Wilmer is shocking too 😂😂
Kroger Fuel at Willow Lawn
How so?
my post was colored by the fact that it was super busy (per usual) just the day prior and I was waiting behind a unattended car at a pump with the nozzle in the car and then the owner of the car came walking from the other side of the plaza with a bag full of chick fil a. motherfucker parked at a busy gas station and went to buy food with their car at the pump.
getting a huge kick out of the people who care about this subject enough to toss 6 downvotes my way though LOL
Damn, that's annoying (especially since there is that unexplainable second chick fil a with a drive-through across the street on broad). I've never had any issues there and that's my preferred gas station.
Mine too but I didnt interepret "chaotic" as having "issues"
the place is kinda a cluster fuck at peak hours because everyone wants that cheap kroger fuel points gasolina hombre.
I feel like 90% of the time I go there's always traffic jockying for pumps
