If you do, make sure you get a bag of bread ends and a tub of their house dressing to go. You'll thank me later!

Two Drummers best bbq in town and possibly better than anything here

Seconded on Blue Talon! My dad and I meet there every year for a pre-Christmas lunch, and I look forward to that blackened catfish reuben year round. I’ve never been for dinner, but the daytime vibe is very charming.

I thought Pierce's was the spot for BBQ in Williamsburg

Pierces is good but Two Drummers is perfection

Softly disagree. Their quality isn’t what it used to be.

Yeah, that was a great meal when we went back in March after a W&M tour.

I'm sorry I ate there and it was the worst barbecue I had had in a long time I don't get the places reputation

I'll have to try it out sometime. Looks like a different class of dining than Pierce's

It’s not fancy at all but you’re not served from a counter, I guess. Also, pierce’s is more pork focused where two drummers is more brisket.

Fat Canary is excellent if you’re up for something on the pricey side

La Piazza is the newest Everett (Blue Talon and DoG St. Pub owner) and is yummy Italian. Culture Cafe is adorable and has great plant based options. They also have a good brunch!

In the 70s-90s it was the only spot, and served pretty good carolina style pulled pork. Two Drummers or Matchstick are way better options now.
