I just wanted to make a quick point to your post, while you may have grown up in the north, the drivers here did not. You could be sitting at a stop sign and get rear ended pretty easily. Please be cautious when driving in inclement weather around here, people often either treat it with too much respect, or they double their average miles per hour.

My father in law was born and raised in New England and loves talking about how people "down here" don't know how to drive in the snow (despite having lived here for over 30 years now, guess what bro you are "people down here") so it was a really special day last winter when I got to pull him out of a ditch

I’ve noticed that! My first bad storm in DC was pretty scary. I’m less worried about Sunday because I think the roads will be pretty dry by then, but we shall see. Thanks!
