it used to be something studied back in the day, I remember my dad had a book of them for speeches and what not. I only remember the classics

I just have never been able to remember quotes or jokes verbatim. I can remember random history facts and other useless info though.

I'm not sure verbatim matters - I screwed with that one on purpose, but you can always just go ahead and make that claim. Doubt anyone would care either way of course
