Honestly your best bet is guitar center. Go and try out the different brands to get a feel for their action. The different brands have different feels, and you can pay for higher tiers to get more features if you want. I tried a bunch and I found that yamaha has the best for the price. After finding a brand you like, order one with the features you want and have it sent to the store. Make sure it includes a seat and pedals, a lot of the pictures online show them but actually don’t include them, and buying pedals after the fact doesn’t always work. I tried multiple Casio keyboard years ago and bought the pedals and they never worked right. Good luck!

^ This. I got a base model Roland a few years back for free. The last 5 keys in the upper range didn't work after the previous owner's daughter spilled water on it, but was able to take it apart and clean up the contacts and get it working like it should. I intended on relearning the piano, but ended up giving it to my niece since she started taking lessons. I have a collection of brasswinds so I'm still tootin' my own horn...
