Is there a store that has a good selection of digital pianos? I'm looking to buy a beginner-intermediate ($500-1000) one for my daughter, and I'd like for her to be able to try them out first.
I'm mainly looking for a console-style one (like the Casio PX-870), but a portable, keyboard-style one that has a wooden stand and pedals that can be added (like the Roland FP-30X) could work too.
Out of the stores I've tried, Sam Ash had a great selection but didn't have a couple of models I was hoping to see. Guitar Center had a very limited set of pianos.

Honestly your best bet is guitar center. Go and try out the different brands to get a feel for their action. The different brands have different feels, and you can pay for higher tiers to get more features if you want. I tried a bunch and I found that yamaha has the best for the price. After finding a brand you like, order one with the features you want and have it sent to the store. Make sure it includes a seat and pedals, a lot of the pictures online show them but actually don’t include them, and buying pedals after the fact doesn’t always work. I tried multiple Casio keyboard years ago and bought the pedals and they never worked right. Good luck!
