I was in the ER on Thanksgiving for a 5mm kidney stone they found and I need to see a urologist for a follow up asap. I was seen in an emergency room in Tennessee and the ER told me to find a urologist as soon as I get back to Richmond. Any help is appreciated. I have good Cigna commercial insurance. Thank you.

Virginia Urology and stress the emergency nature of the event, otherwise they will try and schedule you way out.

You’re already getting a tip where you head but get a heating pad in the meantime. Just had one last month and it helped immensely compared to ones I had in the past. Best of luck kidney stone bro/sis.

Call the number on the back of your card speak with customer service rep and give your zip code otherwise use the portal on your mycigna website and search for locality, otherwise, as long as the location and MD is covered (some insurances will cover a location but not the particular md without a pa or referral) also double check with the location that they take mycigna and find out any details about pricing and services including out of pocket and upfront and payment possibilities.
