we really should. The fact the US army has Forts named after confederates has always boggled my mind. What's next, Fort Ho Chi Minh?

The Army has renamed all its bases named after confederate generals. They’re working now changing all the signs and things

There was a commission created to rename anything within the DoD that honored the CSA, check out https://www.thenamingcommission.gov/home for the full report.
In Virgina:
- Ft. AP Hill is becoming Ft. Walker
- Ft. Lee is becoming Ft. Gregg-Adams
- Ft. Picket is becoming Ft. Barfoot
