Need to stop naming stuff after people, you never know what history will uncover. Might never be anything negative but prevents the potential of future issues

we really should. The fact the US army has Forts named after confederates has always boggled my mind. What's next, Fort Ho Chi Minh?

There was a commission created to rename anything within the DoD that honored the CSA, check out https://www.thenamingcommission.gov/home for the full report.

In Virgina:

  • Ft. AP Hill is becoming Ft. Walker
  • Ft. Lee is becoming Ft. Gregg-Adams
  • Ft. Picket is becoming Ft. Barfoot
