Looking for advice on where others have had good experiences shopping for, and purchasing, an engagement ring. Thanks for sharing!

Diamonds Direct in Short Pump had great prices and they were able to do a custom ring for me (Tiffany style 6 prong at 1/3 the price, looks exactly like it). You also get lifetime cleanings/resizing which I’ve use multiple times. And you get a nice discount when you want to buy wedding bands.
Seconding Diamonds Direct in Short Pump. Friendly, helpful, and affordable.
Schwarzchild in Carytown. They are wonderful and their customer service is always top notch. They kept us in budget and worked with us to create this beauty. We went to 2 other different stores, and considered the online lab grown companies but my heart just kept going back to Schwarzchild. I’m obsessed with my ring 💍
Emily Warden is great. Dransfield downtown has vintage pieces if you’re into that sort of thing.

Go talk to Joe over at Sycamore Jewelers.
Used Diamond Direct back in the day. No complaints.
Sally at Carreras!
Seriously me and my husband got both of ours on Etsy, found two great small businesses and were more than pleased. We didn’t want to spend a lot of money and wanted ethically sourced materials.
Richmond Jewelers. My engagement ring was purchased online but my husband designed a custom band, which they made for me.
James Allen if you are open to online. Excellent prices, quality, and customer service.
