I'm planning a bachelorette party and the group is pretty large, so I'm looking for restaurants that take reservations. Does anyone have any brunch and dinner recommendations? I live out-of-state so I am unfamiliar with Richmond so any suggestions would be super helpful.

Edit: Thanks so much for the suggestions everyone! I’ll definitely take a look at all of them.

Belmont food shop. Awesome private room, won't rip you off, great food. Good for probably 10+.

A bunch of the breweries around here (Buskey Cider and Triple Crossing off the top of my head) have private rooms for parties! Both are excellent and Triple Crossing has great food as well.

Pinky’s was accommodating to a similarly sized party and took reservations. It is in Scotts Addition which is a trendy neighborhood and definitely has a cool bachelorette party vibe. Hope this helps.

Speaking of the bachelorette party vibe. I thought we in RVA were going to get one of those pedal pubs, did that ever happen?

Stella’s has a separate space for larger parties. We went there for my salons holiday party! The food is great and the space works well for larger parties bc there’s sitting areas so you aren’t confined to your dinner chair the whole time. Perfect for socializing and cute pics!

The food at Stella's looks so yummy! Unfortunately when I called them they said they only take max 8 people and the private space is for 20 minimum, and our group is at 13 lol. It's a bummer because it seemed like a great place for the occasion

I saw your other comment that said your party would be 13. That's not unmanageable for a lot of good stuff in the city!

What kind of food do you want for your fun night out?

I think the group would be down for any type of food! Which isn’t very helpful lol but we aren’t picky. The only requirement would be that there are vegetarian options because there are a few in the group.

Tazza in Scott’s has a good room for a group that size. Dope food too

Back in my college days I used to work for Bakers Crust. They do have very good brunch options. I remember working a weekend morning shift. We had closed the whole restaurant down (on Cary) to accommodate a bridal party.

Look at their menu, and if you are interested, I would give them a call. I’m specifically talking about Cary st location, not short pump one. As Cary st one is smaller and don’t get as much business as the other location.

Congrats on getting married!

Edit: they do serve pitchers of Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s for brunch. Personal recommendations: chicken and waffles and Swanky eggs Benedict. For some reason, Cary st location has a tastier breakfast/ brunch than the other location.

Thank you! I’m actually not the bride, I’m the maid of honor who’s planning the party but thank you for the kind words 😊

I watched a literal bus load of people walk into East Coast Provisions. Looked like a wedding party.
