Give it 13 months.

Food may be good, location is eh due to parking and lack of foot traffic

I get the weirdest vibes off of the owners from their Instagram.

I've had the greek wedding and it's delicious

As it is now (unless they're planning to pop up some outdoor seating in warmer months) it's 100% a to-go place. You are currently unable to sit down and eat there, well you could but you'd be sitting on the curb outside

Sidenote, has any restaurant in Richmond ever opened on time? It never takes just a few months to order and redesign everything, hire staff, and train them.

Saw this and tried their Balboa Mac for lunch with a chicken piece. Mac was good and the chicken piece more so. Worth checking if you're really about some mac and cheese or get hit with a random craving.

Having said that, won't be my new go-to when friends from out of town come through, etc.

they've got roughly 1,200 apartments being developed within walking distance of them, so probably easily 2,200+ new people in the neighborhood. key will be 1) surviving until they are built and 2) converting them against fat dragon or BBB or En Su Boca or all of Scotts Ad.

City hall is notoriously poor at providing necessary documents in a timely manner. It's a major barrier for businesses here.

Jamaican buddy said it was easier to open a business in Jamaica than Richmond, because at least he knew who to bribe and how much.

The fiesta is good but my fav is broccoli and mushroom. Haven’t tried them all yet. I think the chicken strips could be better. Next time get the Mac and cheese there and run thru chick fil a and add nuggets!! The desserts are AWESOME!

Yeah I've never once in my life pondered if I want to wait in a line for an hour to pay $70 for BBQ or if I want late night Mac and Cheese. There's demand for more than 3-5 restaurants, particularly casual restaurants, in Scott's Addition.

Hate to admit I wasn’t impressed when I tried it. Got the buffalo mac and it just tasted like cheap hot sauce and and looked like something I could slapped together myself at home. Portion was also a joke for how much they charge. I can think of 5 other restaurants that aren’t Mac & cheese focused at all that still have better Mac and cheese.

I worked at bookbinders for a few years. They aren't necessarily bad people, but live in a very privileged bubble. Personally I dislike them but that's my own feelings.

I had a stand right next to them at the Scott's Addition Festival last fall. Friendly people and nice food... but then at the end of the festival, they dumped their water, got lots of my rust-able merch wet, and zero apology.
