That’s what I was paying in Alexandra. The amenities were angry neighbors, German cockroaches and an aggressive door with a broken pnuematic closer. The door slammed close on my dogs tail, and we had to get it partially amputated.

No like that extremely expensive for a 1 bedroom and is the norm in the city now....

It's a joke on the level of 'amenities' that the city now provides, kind of like look we have it all here, even high rent!

not true. See the innumerable stats posted. Average is around 1300 for a 2 bed.

There are probably some 1800 one beds in the city, though I've never heard of such a thing. But "top number in the set" and "norm" are really not the same thing
