Im (20m) she’s (18w) I can’t get over that my gf lost her virginity on Valentine’s Day with her ex, she said that she regret it bc she was only 15 and it was on the floor, now she’s 18 years old I know it’s my problem and insecures, but I’m still struggling with this, we started dating since high school, but she was in a different school, I feel on every Valentine’s Day she’s gonna remember it and I feel it’s not special anymore, she told me that she wants to celebrate it, but idk how feel it doesn’t matter to me anymore, the last 2 Valentine’s Day I tried to celebrate it with her but deep down I hated it

Bro. This is something you have to go through yourself. Are you guys married? Because if you’re not, and you’re still planning to have premarital sex, then I don’t see your problem.

If it’s the fact that her losing her virginity in Valentine’s Day, being memorable, then you just have to make sure she has the best Valentine’s Day experience with you. Being a bit older, being worried about your girls virginity is something that is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, unless you’re ultra religious. But if you’re having premarital sex, you gotta work on your philosophy, bud.

I can only give you general advice. You know her better, but make it about her. Take her to her favorite place, do your favorite activity, and make sure your gift is thoughtful. It doesn’t have to be expensive, but the important thing is to attach something very meaningful even if the gift is not a personalized hand made thing. A heartfelt card is a force multiplier in any gifts. Good luck bud.
