Throwaway.

I’m in a relationship and have a girlfriend. We live separate. Last week I went out and found myself getting attention from someone cute. I was drinking and assumed it felt right in the moment , but i was wrong.

The next morning I felt like crap and I felt disgusted at myself. Then over the weekend I had to go to my girlfriends place and i felt guilty the whole time.

Now today I’m back at my place, thinking.

It never felt right did it, you just want to try and justify it a little bit.

Time to grow a pair of balls, tell her and then let her decide if she wants your cheating and horrible ass in her life.

I’m not going to tell you your a bad person or anything like that, but I would tell her. Just accept whatever she says and if it’s meant to be, then it’s meant to be!

How old are you and were any friends in common there? Did you know the girl?

Tell her. She’ll likely break up with you and you’d deserve it

If you like her and respect her, you should be honest about what happened. Also, if you can’t control your actions when drinking, you should probably avoid drinking as much.

You should tell her and blame your actions to the inability to control how much you drink and what happens after. Sure drinking could be an excuse but it does lower ones inhibition. Don’t make alcohol the excuse or justification. Also if you were getting attention from someone cute- why didn’t you shut it down? Choices man….just fess up to your girl. Best she finds our from you than from someone else else. And face all that will come your way like a man.

Being drunk is no excuse for cheating. If you can't control yourself when drunk you shouldn't drink that much.

Be honest with your girlfriend and take responsibility for your actions.

Absolutely I am, it just depends on situation.

If this is a 35 year old dude on a business trip with kids at home that’s one thing. I tend to prioritize stable homes for kids where total life destruction can be avoided if dad can quit drinking and keep it in his pants. Definitely not ethically good, but not evil either imo.

If it’s a 20 something, just own up. At that point accountability helps you not become midlife crisis dude above. He’s probably fucked anyway at that point, so be honest with her and break up. I’m sure he would want it in her shoes. That drinking is an escape.

You’re pathetic if you use alcohol as the excuse for cheating. What you did was fucked up. It’s time to own up to it and tell your girlfriend and let her decide if she wants to stay with you or not.

You need to tell her, no one deserves to be cheated on. Also you cannot blame alcohol for your poor decision making and your bad actions.
