Absolutely I am, it just depends on situation.

If this is a 35 year old dude on a business trip with kids at home that’s one thing. I tend to prioritize stable homes for kids where total life destruction can be avoided if dad can quit drinking and keep it in his pants. Definitely not ethically good, but not evil either imo.

If it’s a 20 something, just own up. At that point accountability helps you not become midlife crisis dude above. He’s probably fucked anyway at that point, so be honest with her and break up. I’m sure he would want it in her shoes. That drinking is an escape.
