Just having trouble leting it go.. i know I’m strong enough to overcome whatever this is.. But my brain keeps going back to the pain i felt.. I need to forgive this person to move forward.. i need to let it go..but I can’t

I understand how you feel, but it should also be known that it's not necessarily another person's job to heal those pains and scars.
I think other people have the capacity to help, but we must also be willing to put the work in for ourselves, so that we can move forward. It may be a long, uphill battle, but it is not always impossible.
