I share a 8 month old son with my boyfriend whom acts as if we do not exist. My boyfriend 21 years old does not work I work and refuses to help me to keep the child. I have to be struggling working and being a mom while he’s at watching tv. Whenever we are away he doesn’t call and check up and ask if we are ok. He only helps with the baby when he can financially seeing he doesn’t have a stable income and refuses to go get one. Recently I found out he was cheating with another girl asking her to go out stuff and he rarely takes me out. I think I should leave but still thinking is it that he will change? Or I’m waiting in vain.

Why would you even attempt to work out issues? A cheater who doesn't give you attention or validates your situation.

He can help out financially with a court order if need be.

That’s a valid question but sometimes when you’re inlove you just feel that need to be with that person despite everything.

Your in love with the person who you want him to be not the person he is. It is hard to get rid of an emotional attachment but you are not going to change him.

Based on your post history, not so long ago you left the guy and he denies the child is his. Then just 2 mos ago, you were asking how to leave. So for at least the last 6 mos, you’ve known you need to get out of this relationship. So get out.

All I'm going to say is this: The opposite to love isn't hate - it's indifference.
