I am taking my pooch for an adventure in PVD today. Going to hit the walking bridge and bop around Wickenden area. Any suggestion for areas to hit up? Thanks in advance and if you see us, say hi :)

Lincoln Woods if you're willing to go further or Bell St Dog Park!

The Waterman St. dog park and and the Gano St. dog park are both right off of the East Bay bike path, and are within walking distance of each other.

Off wickenden, 2 streets behind the Coffee Exchange is a wide open park with little traffic. Could be used for off leash fun!

There’s nice places in there to let your larger dog (GSD, Husky, etc) explore with you off-leash safely if they are trained for it. It’s what I do when I boulder there when it’s closer to 70 degrees.

Thanks for the recc! We ended up doing an urban loop. Started over by PARL, crossed the walking bridge and then went through Waterplace park. Had a coffee and a pup cup at Starbucks on Chestnut at the end.. Will definitely check out those dog parks next weekend!

I walk my dog here often and it’s usually pretty quiet, but probably not great for off leash. Plus there conveniently placed trash cans which definitely come in handy!

There are no off-leash places at Lincoln Woods. Please be respectful towards those that don't want strange off leash dogs running up to them and their leashed dog. It's rude and dangerous. Doesn't matter if your dog was "trained for it"
