Lived here for years and go to RW a lot, but not super recently. I gotta be honest that the offerings and participating restaurants were super underwhelming this year. Gracies has a decent amount off of their 5 course if that'a your thing, but it's definitely a splurge.

The only two places on the list that I'd recommend are Gracies and maybe Xaco Taco. I agree that the list isn't super hot this year.

Gracie’s is amazing but on the luxury end of the budget - their sister restaurant Ellie’s might be a good shout. Sarto is great quality, moderately priced depending on what you order. I’ve been to other spots on the list, like Nick’s, and didn’t feel they were memorable.

I’m actually disappointed in the list but I say this as someone who keeps saying “in this economy?!” My coins will remain in my pocket haha.

I'm confused, has Ellie's stopped doing dinner service? I know they didn't always do it but went there once for dinner like 2 or 3 years ago and it was fantastic....quality was comparable to Gracie's but a simpler menu and cheaper, it was honestly a steal.

The only restaurant we go to during RW is Capital Grille now. But I just checked the restaurant list and Matunuck is on it. Definitely some good options there since they added a bunch more restaurants.

Would agree the list this year wasn't particularly compelling. I've always liked to use it to try restaurants I'd not been to yet and. . .meh on any that made the list in that category.

However, my husband and I did New Rivers last spring during restaurant week. Definitely on the pricier end of things, but the restaurant week menu made it feasible. Would be a really nice atmosphere and a cozy place to have dinner on a cold January night. Sarto is usually a good bet as well.

I went to Moonshine Alley yesterday and their 3 course choices were pretty good for $25.
