Not in person, but I have a friend who teaches English and Portuguese virtually. He’s very good. DM me if interested.

With a heavy Portuguese population around here there should be something close, maybe even in Fall River.

Brown has a Department of Portuguese and Brazilian Studies and their homepage says their a "community-oriented department". Couldn't hurt to shoot them an email and ask if they do public classes for the community or know an organization/grad student that does?

There was a place in East Providence that taught Portuguese on Saturdays. I believe it was with St.Francis Xavier church

Ugh, sorry! I checked if Passport to Languages in Warwick does, but nope. Weird that we're in such a Portuguese strong area but no classes. I know you want in person, but I've taken online classes on italki.com and enjoyed them, but you have to find a teacher that fits with your approach.
