Small Point! Great vibes inside for studying and good food/coffee for when you need a break.

District Hall at 225 Dyer Street. Free coworking place but a quiet place to study with wifi and comforts.

Upstairs at Yoleni’s during non peak hours.

It’s not exactly downtown, but you can always request to use any of the community rooms at Community Libraries of Providence. Keep in mind, this is for Community Libraries of Providence and not Providence Public Library, we are different libraries. We have 9 libraries and PPL only has the downtown library.

We are also working on buying individual study pods at one of our libraries. They are the size of an old school telephone booth and will have sound proofing to let individuals study. This is unannounce, but we’ll be adding them at one library and if all goes well, we will try to expand them to other libraries.

At South Providence, we have a few tables where people can study. But we have an open layout and sound can travel. People who do come to study often bring noise canceling headphones or they request our community room. On the upside, we have a k-cup brewer and can make hot chocolate or coffee for $1, which covers the cost of coffee and the cup. We also have notaries if you need something notarized and a fax machine.
