Pretty sure the Mbta last train leaves Boston via South Station around 11 or 1130. Check their site for the most updated schedule.
Driving is your best bet unless you want to miss the end of your show. I had to leave a concert early for my fave musician who was in the middle of the sickest encore I’ve ever (almost) seen. That or get a hotel and come back in the morning. It’s a major bummer and a thorn in my concert-loving side that the train doesn’t run later.
I’ve always just gotten an air bnb/hotel room bc there are no real options. It’s not great.
Not any more, just checked and 11:00 every night. I know I've caught later before but they cut back a lot of trains during the pandemic.
There used to be a late bus on weekends, not sure if it still happens.
Pre-pandemic there was a weeknight midnight train, that sometimes had some good entertainment on Thursday and Friday night with those that went out after work and had too many.
Oh yeah! Or after a Red Sox or Bruins game. Transport and a show!

Not since they cancelled the old midnight train a few years ago (RIP). There might be a bus that late, but I’m honestly not sure. If you can drive up to a T stop with parking that’s your best bet. Quincy Adams is on the red line and has a big garage, that’s what I would recommend so you miss the bulk of 93 traffic going up.
