A typical year is like 3-5 feet of snow, years that go way above that.
Providence gets less than more inland places typically but there was over 2 feet last January alone. For a full winter, it can really add up on the big years. In 2015, the snowpile by the armory was still around until June because there was so fucking much of it

There was also a ton of snow in the 2017-18 winter. And it also included a stretch of like 2 weeks where wind chills were below zero (and as bad as -20).
