Was hoping to take a couple hours away from the home office this fine afternoon to get out of the house. Curious if anyone has a favorite spot they could suggest that’s semi-quiet, has decent coffee and WiFi to take the laptop?

Poindexter at the Biltmore is really good. There's plenty of space with lots of tables, or you can just take your coffee and go sit in the hotel lobby.

Small point cafe but if you’re willing to go a little farther the coffee depot in warren is super comfy
Lived in Wayland for 4 years. As much as I like their pastries, the sit down section can get real loud on busy days

The downtown branch of the Providence Public Library underwent a huge rennovafion a few years ago and it has plenty of work spaces that are more cozy than your average coffee shop without the pressure of having to buy something. Can’t recommend it enough.

What's wrong with it?
Bolt Downtown (Washington street) is a great urban coffee shop with a nice vibe and wifi.
