And I need some help! So far I have gone to 6 out of the 8 that I plan to. I am getting prices for an average 20 item shopping list at each place. There is lots of math to make it comparable (some places do price per lbs, others (trader joes) do price per fruit. So I have to buy and weigh individual fruit to find price per lbs.

The main thing I need advice on is how to factor in any perks (giant eagle/shop n save) that you accumulate on purchases. My plan, let's take giant eagle for example, is to factor in getting 4% off for $100 in groceries (about my grocery lists cost), and applying that to the "actual cost" of the shopping list. Technically it wouldn't apply til the next time you go, but I think retroactively applying it to the current purchase is the best way to accurately assess the real pricing of a store. Thoughts?

Also, I would love to hear people's predictions on where stores will fall in order of most to least expensive. I am going to Giant Eagle, Shop n Save, Aldi, Trader Joes, Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, and Kuhn's. If you put them in order of price you win a prize. I will be releasing my data in a day or two!
